Kochi: After adding milk powder it should not be claimed as pure milk instructed The High Court. The Division bench chaired by Justice S. Sirijagan allowed Milma time till Monday to decided and inform the court saying that it should be said on the packet itself that it contains milk powder otherwise it is violation of the constitution.
The court considered the appeal filed by Martin Payiva of Elamakkara. Milma explains that milk powder is added to ensure the stipulated quality of milk. Milk from some cows may not be having the quality required and there is no other way to make it to the quality level needed says milma.
