The classic romantic film Khoobsurat directed by Hrishikesh Mukerjee which got released on 1980 is getting its official remake with the same name. Sonam Kapoor is playing the female lead in the remake is Sonam Kapoor. The film is co produced by Anil Kapoor and Sydney India and is directed by Sashank Ghosh. The film will feature Fawad Khan, Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Husain, apart from Sonam Kapoor. Sonam will be playing the iconic character played by Rekha in the Original version. The film is a family entertainer which will be released on September. The film will bring out the acting ability of the actress.
