New Delhi: Chennithala being firm on his decision not to join the ministry, made the efforts of High command to solve the party issues in Kerala futile. Oommen Chandy’s discussions for a settlement in the issues were failed. Ramesh did not join in the discussions of Oommen Chandy with High Command.

After his meetings with MukulVasnik AICC General Secretary in charge of Kerala, Ramesh said the existing situation do not warrant for a change in his decision not to join the ministry.  The high command discussions came to a fix because of Ramesh’s opinion that his entry to the ministry is not the solution for the present problems in the party.   But Ramesh said the discussions are continuing and he will decide on his return from Delhi today. The Chief Minister had in house discussions with AICC General Secretary Mukul Vasnik and Mrs. Gandhi’s political secretary Ahammed Patel but none of them resulted in a settlement for the issues. Chief Minister is returning on Tuesday Morning. In response Mr. Chandy said the discussions are continuing and he is expecting a good outcome from them. If necessary he will be coming  back to Delhi .Since both the groups are adamant in their stands, the  High Command may seek for alternate formulas for settling the issues Kerala.
