Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy expressed his willingness to include him and his office under the scope of Judicial inquiry .Chief Minister said this in his meeting with UDF alliance leaders.
Not interested to be in the shade of suspicion. No need to fear the inquiry also since not involved in any way in the case.In that circumstances what is wrong if he and his office is within the scope of inquiry ; He asked to the leaders.The agitation by Opposition is politically driven.They will continue this till the next parliament election.Even is judicial inquiry is made they are not going to withdraw from the agitations.Next demand will be resignation.But there is no intention to resign on Solar issue.Since it is decided not to resign there is no problem coming under the scope of judicial inquiry.This is his opinion ;He explained to the leaders.
In between the government had sent letter again to The High Court to provide a sitting Judge for the inquiry.The letter asks for re considering the High Court decision not to provide a sitting Judge. It also says the Solar Case is so important to have a sitting judge to conduct the inquiry.
