Eventhough she is in the industry for quite some time, it is now her time got better with more potential roles coming on her way. The new generation film Traffic has become the turning point in her career. After Traffic the roles which has been offered to her all are potential and best roles. Lena who got into films through television serials are still acting television serials. But being a psychologist she is very selective in her roles . She says that she has acted in almost all kind of different roles in films . At the same time she says that she like to do the role of someone with a mental disorder on screen. She says that since she have learnt clinical psychology and have seen the kind of environment they live in, she feels that she can have an inner knowledge of such a character and contribute well to it.
Now she will be coming in the role of the mother in Boban Samuels ‘ Happy Journey’ . mother of the younger version of Jayasurya, in the flashback episode. She did not hide her happiness about her film Kanyaka Talkies which got appraisal in the international film festival. She says that This film will have a mainstream theater release soon.
Her next release would be Anil C Mathews London Bridge as well as Gods Own Country, in which she has done the important role. In all these films she plays an entirely different character. She plays the typical mother in Happy Journey, while in London Bridge she plays a Malayalee settled in London. In Gods own Country her character is that of a Ministers wife. Now she will be coming in the role of the mother in Boban Samuels ‘ Happy Journey’ . mother of the younger version of Jayasurya, in the flashback episode.
