She will marry Anilkumar an agriculturist from waynad who is her muracherukkan. 34 year old Jayalakshmi is a member of Mananthavadi Valadu Palotte tharavadu. Marriage will be held in tharavadu in a traditional way. Anil Kumar is the son of late Annan and Kumba of Kabalakkad palliyara tharavadu. The marriage was fixed long back. Because of her busy schedule as minister it got postponed.
