Director I V Sasi passed away in Chennai on Tuesday. He was 69. He was admitted in Hospital in Chennai following respiratory illness . Even though he was rushed to hospital immediately after he complained breathing problem., but he died on the way to hospital itself. The director has the credit of making lot of films in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi languages. The director who dominated the Malayalam film industry for four decades had made more than hundred and fifty films. He was honoured with J.C Daneil Award by Kerala state. He had also twice won the state award for best direction and won the national award for the best feature film on national integration for his movie Aroodam. Actress Seema is his wife. His last film was Vellathooval which got released in 2009. Recently he was planning for a big budget film starring Mammootty in the lead and the death entered as unexpected guest. I V Sasi Met his life partner Actress Seema on the set of Avalude Ravukal and after that she had collaborated and worked with him for more than 30 films as heroine. He is survived by two children.
