Director Vaishak will be directing another film titled Cousins with Kunchacko Boban in the lead role after the film Vishudhan. The north Indian Actress Vedika will be playing the heroine in the film. Vedika debuted in the Malayalam films with Dilip starrer Srinkaravalan. She said that eventhough she got so many offers from in Malayalam films , she was waiting for a good film opportunity to perform . This would be a comedy film. Besides Vedika and Kunchako Boban the film also has actors Manoj K Jayan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jojo.
The director has borrowed the name Cousins form Lal Jose. Lal Jose has earlier planned to make a film with the same title with Mohanalal and Prithivraj in the lead. Because of some issues this film got cancelled.
