Trivandrum: The CPM has finally taken the stand that Thettayil’s resignation is a matter to be decided by Janathadal(s). The Central leadership also has endorsed the stand taken by the State leadership.
In a press conference yesterday V.S. also has softened his previous stand. He too has left the decision to the Janthadal(s). The CPI also has gone back on their previous demand that Thettayil resign on moral grounds. The CPI State Secretary Panyan Ravindran said yesterday that it is left to the Janathadal(s) to decide about the resignation issue. On the other hand, RSP has never taken an open stand yet.
