Chengannur: Police arrested Tenni Joppan in connection with the solar scam. Till recently he was a member of Ummen Chandi’s personal staff. The arrest took place after his questioning at the Chengannur Dy:SP’s office. ADGP Hemachandran said, they have got enough evidence with regard to his involvement in the scam. Joppan was expelled from the chief minister’s office after knowing about his phone calls to Saritha. The charge leveled against him is cheating.
