Swetha Menon and Jayaram has not yet paired in any malayalam movies, and that is being rectified through the Tamil movie, Thunnayi Muthalvar – a political satire. Baaghyaraj is appearing in an important role in the movie. The plot of the movie is the life of two friends of a village, and the aftermath incidents that takes place when one of then becomes a chief minister. The movie is being directed by Vivekanandan. Though the movie deals with the political issues, the movie is a family entertainer too, said the director. The last movie by Jayaram ‘Nadan’ was a great hit and ‘Onnum Mindathe’ is to be released. Though the movie ‘Salam Kashmir’ starring Jayaram and Suresh Gopi has been shot and is ready for the release, it has not been released due to some technical problems. No movies of Swetha has been released after her movie ‘Kalimannu’. Carribeans, Platform number 1, 100 degree celsius and Kelvi are the upcoming movies of Swetha, in which she appears in the role of a scriptwriter in the movie ‘Kelvi’.
