Sridevi had gained much critical appreciation for her acting in the movie 'English Vinglish', but then she did not aspire high to greater heights in the film industry. She is now playing a negative role in Abhishek Kapoor's movie, 'Fitoor', a movie based on the famous work of Charles Dickens' 'Great Expectations'.
The Fox Star Studio had approached the versatile actress to act a role in the upcoming project Amole Gupta, 'Hawa Hawaii', starring Partho Gupta and Saqib Saleem. It was the famous song in Mr.India, 'Kehte Hain Mujhko Hawa Hawai' that gave Sridevi the title, 'Miss Hawa Hawaii.' The makers of the film said that Sridevi is an inevitable element in the making of the film as the very name of the ovie has been taken from one of her most famous songs. The shoot has been scheduled in January and Sridevi is to act in some scenes and a song. But her consent has not yet been got.
