Alapuzha – Sri Ganesh Chundan wins the 61st Nehru Trophy Boat Race. In the finals Sri Ganesh Chundan has defeated Jawahar Thayankari and hence getting the trophy for the second time.
The boat Sree Ganesh chundan was rowed by the oarsmen of Star Boat Club, Haripad. Anari Puthan chundan and Jawahara Thachankari gave a tough and breath taking competition to sree Ganesha Chundan.
