Pop Singer Smita’s album “Wake Up India” was released at a grand function held at Vijayawada Club on 8th April ,2014. The Audio CD was released by Dr.Kambhampati Hari Babu, President , BJP for A.P. and the first copy of the CD was handed over to a local Tea Vendor. The Video was launched by Sri.Ravindra Raju garu, Organising Secretary State BJP. Smita created this album in support of Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Ministerial candidate of BJP. Lyrics for the album were penned by Anantha Sreeram, Music composed by Nihal and the director of Photography is Sameer Reddy. The theme was conceptualised by Smita and her team. While speaking on the occasion Dr.Hari Babu garu appreciated Smita for taking this initiative of coming up with this album and impressed upon the need for making Modi as next PM. Smita Said that it was time for India to wake up and take charge of the nation. She said that India can prosper and well being of all sections of society is possible only under NAMO’s able leadership, his exceptional administrative skills and unparalleled vision. Her trips to Gujarat motivated her to make this album and share the facts about its progress with the nation. Music Director Nihal said it has been a special experience to work on this project with Smita. He said he felt very happy to create a song like this for the nation. Anantha Sreeram said that the song was very special for him. Those who attended the launch were Music Director Nihal, Lyric writer Anantha Sreeram, Music Director Raghu Kunche, Lyric Writer Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao, Sri.Bharathiji, President for State RSS, Sri Ravindra Raju garu, State Organising Secretary for BJP and several other prominent personalities. Audio CD’s are being distributed free of cost for publicity purpose during elections and free download facility of audio and video will be made available on internet. Hindi version of this album will be released very soon.
