Sarath Kumar & Radharavi celebrate the 56th National Day of Malaysia

The evening was a splendid moment indeed traversing the ambience to the paradisiacal land of Malaysia. This all happened at the exotic Park Sheraton, where the 56th National Day of Malaysia was celebrated by the Malaysian Consulate in Chennai. The who's who in the traditional costumes of Malaysia and the waiters serving tea in the country's ethnical way was a special delight to the guests as the audio visuals of history of Malaysia National Day was screened in the backdrops. The event commenced as the most elite guests from Malaysia and India stood in respect for the National Anthem of both the countries. Ms. Chithra devi Ramaiyah, The Consul General of Malaysia played a perfect host of inviting the special invitees to this wonderful occasion and brought out some of the most brilliant flashes of achievements endeavored by Malaysia by 2013. Shedding lights on this, honorable Chithradevi said, "It's a honour for me to host the Malaysian National Day herein Chennai today. For Malaysians, it's a day to reflect how far we have come across the years. Malaysia is a sovereign country and this day makes us remember that we are ready to defend it. We achieved our independence without a drop of blood and that's because of the wonderful indigenous races that came together to achieve this dream. Malaysia and India share a common bond in many arenas that makes it more appealing on the international front." Totting up to the achievement status, Chithradevi didn't miss to mark the spellbinding accomplishment of Malaysia on the aspects of business, cinema, tourism and expo and thanked everyone across the country for making this event so special. Marking this special occasion - 56th birthday of Malaysia, a delicious chocolate cake was cut amidst of cheerful applause and smile. Any celebration is not complete without the delicious festive treat to your tastebud that boasted of some of the exquisite dishes - Nasi Lemak, Nasi Empit, Chicken Rice, Fried Kueh Teow and Laksa Sarawak complimented by local food.
