Anusha debuted in the film industry as the female lead through the tamil film Renigunda. Till then she was known in the Malayalam as the child artist, But the film made her heroine, The Film Renigunda told the story of street life and she played a street girl in the film. Now again Sanusha will essaying the role of street girl in the film ‘India Today’ directed by Vinayan. She will play the role of a victim of physical torture. The film ‘India Today’ opens up the issue of women molestation and abuse which is getting increased in the society. Saravanan will play the hero in the film.
