The voters who reached Poovattuparambu Polling Booth, Calicut were quite surprised, seeing the Polling officer who is the Overseer at the Irrigation Office, it was none other than Santosh Pandit. This actor who has lot of fans in Kerala was the main attraction in the polling booth. This is the second time he being the polling officer.
Voting is not something like cinema shooting. In cinema, several takes are allowed, but in elections that is not possible. Santosh Pandit is quite tensed as people who come there might create a mess asking to take photographs with him.
One should elect a good leader. He should be able to speak Hindi and English too, said Pandit to the voters. Some dialogues from the cinema were also quoted by Santosh Pandit in the polling booth.
