The controversial hero from Malayalam cinema Santhosh Pandit visits the tribal villages of Attappadi extending his help for the poor. For the pregnant and feeding mothers and for the suffering poor he gave help by himself. Each kit costing Rs. 2,500/- contained rice, grocery and new cloths.
He talked to the tribal people and recorded their miseries in his diary. He said by his visit he came to understand that these people need awareness on health and hygiene. He added he came to know about the sad situation at Attappadi through the media and should have come much earlier. It got delayed due to his accident while shooting his third film and the reality show in Surya TV. He gave them the commitment to visit again.
