As cricket lovers all over the world are gearing up to give a befitting and unforgettable farewell to India's pride Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, TBIG is also organizing a special function to mark the memorable occasion. We all know what Sachin means to us and there is no need to wax eloquent about his stellar career and supreme personality. After all Sachin is deservedly the man of the moment, occupying headlines and dominating discussions and debates across the cricket loving nations. As he pads up for one last time in his 200th test at the iconic Wankhede Stadium,Mumbai,Technopark too will erupt with respect for the maestro for all the memories that he has bequeathed us. The event will be launched with the cutting of a specially made 3D cake which will be a replica of the master blaster, by the M Vasudevan , BDM of Technopark at11 am on 14.11.13, Thursday. Five thousand baloons with the image of Sachin will be released to the air on the occasion. Renowned cartoonist Badushah will honour the maestro by drawing caricatures of Sachin. Those who wish to have their images in caricatures standing along with the legend can make use of this golden opportunity. The proceeds from this will be handed over to Technopark which will be used for charity. The other highlight of the event will be that the participants will be given a chance to share their views about Sachin and give an account of how the titan has influenced them. About twenty five thousand are expected to participate in this once in a life time event. To cap it all there will be a lucky draw and the winners will take home Samsung smart phones. The two day event will culminate on 15.11 .2013 and a whole host of Programmes to mark the grandeur of the event are on the anvil. Bidding adieu to this peerless bat wielding magician in the best possible manner is a responsibility of every discerning cricket fan, we feel.
