Bollywood Actress Raima Sen Says Initially when she entered the film industry , everyone looks at her in a different way as if they are seeing someone else. It took some time for her to realise that everybody is looking her grandmother on her since she bears a strong resemblance to her late grandmother and legendary actress Suchitra sen . she also said that the film makers wanted to portray her as her grandmother and it took a long time for her to get out of her shadow. She also felt that It is only after the release of Rituparno Ghosh’s Chokher Bali the comparisons came to an end. The actress says that the veteran director Rituparno Ghosh wanted to make a film on Suchitra Sen and he wanted Raima to play the lead. Now both of them have bidden farewell to this world
