The film ‘Queen’ Which is critically acclaimed and got appreciated after Kangana Ranaut’s stunning performance , is gearing up to be remade in the south Indian languages. The film will be remade in four South languages. According to the buzz the South Indian Actress Manju Warrier will be playing the lead in the remake of the critically acclaimed Bollwood film. She will reprise the character of Kangana Ranaut on screen.
According to the reports, the film maker Thiagaran has acquired the remake rights of the movie and the director feels that the women centric film suits Manju warrier and hence she will be caste in the Malayalam version. The Subject is Universal and women in country can relate to this. Regarding the Tamil version lot of rumors are going round. it is heard that Nayan or Thrisha will be finalized for the lead role and also heard that Prasanth will be acting in the film. But officially nothing has been confirmed.
The film revolves around a naive small town girl Rani, who lives in Rajori Bagh in Punjab , fight against all odds in her life and remains strong despite being alone.
