Yesteryear actress Poornima Bhaghyaraj is all set to re enter the Malayalam films with KP Prakash film. she will be coming back to Malayalam film industry with the film titled “On The Rocks” which gives importance to Music. She is becoming the part of the Malayalam film after a gap of so many years. The actress was very active in the Tamil and the Malayalam film during eighties. She married the tamil actor cum director Bhagyaraj while she was in the peak of her career. Ater marriage she was entirely away from films and lime light. Last year she acted with Mohanlal and Vijay in the film Jilla.
Sidharth Menon who came to fame with Thaikudam Bridge will play the lea in the film On the Rocks. Eva Pavithran , daughter of the Famous director Pavithran would play the female lead in the film. music director M Jayachandran will also act in the film. the shoot location of the film is Bangalore. Sidharth would be playing the role of a Rock musician in the film. the film is based on the real story of Rajashree Balaram a Mumbai based Malayalee.
