Nithya Menon dreams to get filled up the South Indian cinema with herself acting and singing the way Remya Nambeesan does. Nithya who has already sang in Malayalam and Kannada is planning to sing Tamil songs for her next movie in tamil named ‘Malini 22 Palayam Kottai’, the remake of malayalam movie ’22Female Kottayam’. Nithya will act in the role of Teasa which was done in malayalam by Reema Kallunkal.
Nithya Menons debut as a singer was in the Kannada film ‘Payasa’ following which she has presented her melodious voice in the melayalam movie ‘poppins’ directed by VK Prakash. This was followed by her singing for the film ‘neththoli oru cheriaya meenalla’ directed by Fahad Fasil. Nithya is confident that the fame which 22 FK received in kerala will positively affect the remake in Tamil. The movie is directed by Tamil actress Sreepriya. Krishna Satar is doing the lead role which was done by Fahad Fasil in 22 FK.
