Namitha who has attracted her viewers through her glamour roles returns after a long break through a police role in the movie ‘Ilarai Oonchal’ which will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. For quite a long time Namitha was kept out from active cinema.
She said that although many offers came her way, she was awaiting a different role like the one she has in hand, the police role. She is no more interested to dress up for glamour roles, she said. Although the director offered her one of the leading roles, she has chosen the police role for herself. There will also be some stunt scenes of Namitha in this movie. The film is directed by Hari Rajan.
Namitha was an item girl in south indian movies when she was not offered any leading roles. We shall have to watch and see whether she be able to affirm her steps by her this return who was once thrown out due to the crowd of heroines.
