Mohanlal and Mukesh to play politician role in film Peruchazhi

The upcoming film Peruchazhi will have the comic team Mohanlal and Mukesh playing the lead roles. They will don the character of Politicians. Tamil director Arun Vaidyanath is directing the film. This is his debut direction in Malayalam and he will also handle the screenplay of the film. Mohanlal will play a politician named vishwanathan. Mukesh will play the minister Raghavan. Even though they play the politicians of Kerala, the story is happening in America. The character viswanath played by Mohanlal’s main work is to canvas vote for the governor who contest for election In America.

He does not know English and the film deals with the difficulties which he faces in America because of that in a humorous way. Mohanlal will play a carefree, fun loving character, who finds himself getting into all kind of mess
The film has the similarity with Mohanlal – Priyadarshan film Akkare Akkare Akkare . Ajayan Venugopalan has written the dialogues for the film, It is produced under the banner of Friday banners jointly by Sandra Thomas and Vijay Babu. The main highlight of the film will be comedy of Mohanlal and Mukesh. The duo who has given some most memorable films together will be doing full length comedy after priyans Arabiyum Ottakavum Madhavan Nairum. Eventhough they are friends they are enemies in politics. American actors also act in this film . Peruchazhi will be Arun Vaidyanathan’s first Malayalam film. Before this he has directed the tamil film ‘Achamunde Achamunde’
