New Delhi: Mr. Oommen Chandy who came here for the meeting of Congress Chief Minsters called by Ms. Sonia Gandhii had a meeting with Mr. K.V Thomas. This was a upfront meeting to the congress chief ministers meeting. Mr. Oommen Chandy will meet Ms. Sonia Gandhi today evening to discuss on the recent issues in the state.
The meeting with Congress president Ms. Sonia Gandhi is part of her interference in the recent issues in the state. Ms. Sonia will also meet KPCC President Mr. Ramesh Chennithala. It was decided earlier that Congress high command will intervene to resolve the issues in State Congress and UDF.
Ms. Sonia sought the report from General secretary Mr. Mukul Vasnik who is in charge of congress in the state followed by meeting Defense Minister Mr. A.K. Antony. The discussions with Mr. Chandy is in continuation of these. It is indicated that same time giving an ear for the explanations of Mr. Chandy Ms. Sonia will be asking him to resolve the issues immediately. Since Mr. Chennithala has not reached Delhi today, discussions with him will be on a later date. If the problems are not getting resolved in one or two discussions high command will call more leaders for meeting.
At the same time Mr. Mukul Vasnik will meet leaders from the state and all so the alliance leaders. There is no idea for a leadership change before the high command now. High command has no difference of opinion about the working style of Mr. Chandy too. Any way high command is expecting to resolve the Kerala issue soon.
