Kozhikkode:Regarding the “Arabikalyanam”the foul play by the orphanage had been revealed.The orphanage conducted the marriage hiding thee fact that the groom is an Arab from the records as evident in Marriage Certificate.The marriage certificate have the groom’s address at Kozhikode.The fact that he is a U.A.E citizen is not there in the marriage certificate.
The mother of the girl who was given in marriage will complaint to the Human Rights Commission today. It was with the initiative of the Orphanage that the 17 year old had been forced for this marriage.After three weeks the Arab went abroad.In this three weeks he along with his friends sexually exploited the girl at many places.
It was on 13th June that the girl had been forced to marry.28 year old Jazi Abdul Karim having citizen ship of UAE was the groom.His mother is from Kozhikkode.The girl had been threatened to expel from the orphanage if not agreeing for marriage.On the groom going abroad ,she was taken back to orphanage by the orphanage authorities saying that she can go with him on his return.Same time the Arab informed the orphanage that he is divorcing the girl.The girl escaping from the orphanage complained to the child welfare committee and police took the case.
