Mammootty’s family members Dulqur Salman , Ibrahim Kutty, Maqbool Salman had already entered the films. Now Ashkar Saudan is also gearing up for his entry to films. Mammootty’s family is taking a grip in the Malayalam film industry. His own son and then his brothers son had played the lead roles and following them at his nephew is also gearing up to play the lead.
Ashkar Saudan is Mammootty’s Sisters son. He will be debuting in the film directed by debutant director Jaspal shanmugam directorial film Mithram. It would be a horror thriller film giving importance to friendship. The film would be released on October 17th. Ashkar who appeared in front of the camera through serials has done so many small roles in the Malayalam films. He debuted in malayalm film with his Uncle Mammoottys ‘Thaskara veeran’ in which he played a small role. As the main lead Mithram has become a bumper. It is heard that the actor will be playing two roles, one that of a journalist Sidharth and second of a common man Madhav.
Askar started his career with television series like Aaro Oral, and Venal Mazha. He also had done small roles in films like ‘Evar Vivahitharaayaal’, ‘Kanyakumari Express’, ‘Njanara Mon’ and ‘Valiyangadi’.
Earlier following Mammootty his Younger Brother Ibrahim Kutty has entered the serials and later came to films. But he could not succeed in films. Following him Mamootty’s son Dulqur entered the films and achieved success. Later Maqbool Salman debuted in films. Now Ashkar is also playing the lead role.
