The star Kings of Malayalam film industry Mamootty and Mohanlal is teaming up for two new films. They will team up for Priyadarshan and Shaji Kailas films. It is known that both will be playing the lead with equal importance. The makers are planning to release both the films by next year. This is for the first time that two films of the stars in which they act together are getting ready to release in the same year.
It is known that senior directors and script writers are roped in for this film. The film is planned to have all ingredients suitable for a commercial film. Both the film is produced aiming commercial success.
Priyadarshan will be producing both the films. Among them he will also direct one film out of that. Earlier there were unconfirmed news going rounds that Priyadarshan is planning to cast Mohanlal and Mammootty together in a film . But the news was not officially confirmed by the makers. Presently Priyadarshan is working for Amayum Muyalum. After completing this film his next project will have Mammootty and Mohanlal Playing the Lead role. If this comes true, then this would be the first time that the super stars are acting in a Priyadarshan film. The script will be written by Priyadarshan himself will script the screen play for the film. It is after a long time that Priyadarshan has come back to the script writing . Presently he has written for Amayum Muyalum starring Jayasurya , Innocent and Nedumudi venu. The plot of the film with the two stars is almost ready.
The other film in which Both the stars are teaming up will be directed by shaji Kailas. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. The shoot of this film will start first.
