Malavika S Nair is the actress who had won two film awards for the Best Child artist for her roles in Oomakuyil Padumbol directed by Siddique Chenthamangallor and karuthapakshikal directed by Kamal. She would be coming back to film industry after a gap of three years.
She would be acting in the film ‘Akaldamayile Pennu’which is based on a real life incident. She would be playing the role of teenage daughter of Swetha Menon. Malavika told that her character would be something new and the story has never been explored so far. She told she is happy to be a part of this different story.
She said that she is looking for good scripts and it is the freshness of this film made her to take up the project. This character would be performance oriented one. She told that as she does not want to be away from studies she did not take new projects. Now she is studying in class ten.
Swetha menon will play the role of women who struggle to earn her living and to protect her family. To make a living and meet her family expenses, she accepts a job which is usually done by men. There are many hardships the mother and daughter had to undergo. Their hardship makes the crux of the story. Debutant director Jayarm Kailash will direct the film and the scripting of the film is done by Shinoj Nedumangadan.
