Malappuram:In Thanoor eight died including three kids and two women as bus hit on an auto.All of them were traveling in the auto.Five died on the spot itself and those three critically injured died at Kozhikkode Medical College.Kabir(25)Arshaq(22)Thahira(45) and Aarifa(40),natives of Alinchuvadu Chettippadi,are the identified.they were coming back from Ozhur after a marriage.
The accident occurred around six in the evening at Mukkola. The bus was going to Thirur from Kozhikkode.The bus was over speeding said eye witnesses.Agitated people set fire to the bus.They did not allow the fire force to reach near the bus.
The bus was stopped today morning at the same place by the natives and had give warning to the driver on over speed..
