Lal who got Kerala State Film award for the Best Actor this year is gearing up to play father to young actor Prithivraj. Lal and Prithivraj is teaming up for the Upcoming film titled ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’ directed by Debutant R.S Vimal. This would the first directorial venture of R S Vimal. This would be a romantic film based on the real life incident . When Prithivraj becomes Moideen, Lal will don the character of his father Unni Moideen Saheb, a strong and hard core politician .
The film which tells the story of Moideen and his lover Kanchanamala, Parvathi Menon will play the female protagonist. Kunju Moideen and Kanjanamala are child hood friends. When they grew up these friends turned lovers. They both were from different religion and hence
Their parents were against this relationship. The film narrates an eternal love story of a Hindu girl and a Muslim boy in the backdrop of Malabar. The film also deals with the real incidents took place in the 1960’s. The director of the film says that Even if it is based on the real life incident , it will also have all the commercial elements.
Lena, Bala, Sreejith Ravi, will play the important roles in the film . The shoot of the film will be started on June 25th in the places like Mukkam, Kozhikode where the original couple lived.
