Thiruvananthapuram:KSRTC started taking diesel from Supplyco pumps.At the same time it is expected that using the private pumps for diesel will be started from today evening onwards. It will be in places where there is no Supplyco pumps.
The price will be paid by KSRTC directly to the pump owners.The list of private pumps are made ready. In each places one pump is selected from each of the oil companies.The list of pumps had been given by Oil companies to KSRTC.The selection was made after inspecting the traffic density and parking facility.Each depot have to inform the details on the diesel consumption to the head office on the same day itself.
KSRTC also will be getting the diesel at the same price at it is available to the public from the private pumps.At the same time there is concern that the rush in the pumps and lack of facility may be a hindrance in many places.
