Mollywood director Vinayan is all set to come with his new film. this time he plans to do a biopic film based on the life of late actor Kalabhavan mani. The film would be inspired from his life. Once again the person from Chalakkudi comes to screen to take the heart of the audience. The film is titled as Chalakkudikaran Changathi . the film deals with how a person from extremely lower class family makes big in the film industry fighting all the odds to get success. The director also said that the film will also highlight how our society still marginalizes dark skinned people.The film would hit theatres on mid October.
Director Vinayan said that the film would be a small tribute to the actor by him who shined in the industry as an actor and a singer.
He also said that a new comer would be casted for this role. The casting process of the film is still going on. Director Vinayan has casted Kalabavan Mani in his film titled Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum which got released in 1999 and the film went on to become a critically acclaimed film. The actor also received the special Jury award and also got Kerala state film Award for his performance.
The actor died on March 6 2016 , after he was found in a serious condition at his farmhouse at Chalakkudy, in his home town.
