For the first time a malayalam movie is being remade into Marathi. The movie Shutter that is being remade will be directed by V.K.Prakash in Marathi. Sachin Kedhekar, Sonali Kulkarni and Prakash Bare are coming in the lead roles.
Shutter was the movie through which Joy Mathew came back to the malayalam industry, who was a known actor, script writer and director. Sreenivasan, Sajitha Matathil, Lal were in lead roles in malayalam. The script was made by Joy Mathew. Shutter was a movie that pointed its finger towards the hypocrisy of the malayalis. Shutter bagged many awards. Prakash Bare and Sajeev are the producers.This is VKP’s debut performance in Marathi too. Shutter will be remade into Kannada, Telungu and Hindi too.
