Jewel Mary who came to limelight through hit reality show ‘D 4 dance’ is all set to debut in the silver screen. She anchored the show and got a special place in the minds of the family audience. Now the anchor of the popular reality show will be debuting as Mammoottys heroine. She will play the lead role in the film Pathemari directed and scripted by Salim Ahammed and produced under the Banner Alan Media. Pathemari is the upcoming new project of Salim Ahammed after the film Kunjananthante Kada. In the film Mammootty plays the role of NRI named Pallikal Narayanan and Jewel plays Nalini Mammootty’s wife.
The film revolves around half a century ie from 60’s to the present time in four stages. The film will bring the life and dreams of gulf malayalees, who is search of a better life, had to live through hardships and tragedies. The first schedule shooting of the film will start by 5th October in Ernakulam. The first schedule is planned for ten days shooting. Dubai would be the main location of the film. Pathemari will tell the story of Narayanan who goes to Gulf on 1963, and comes back to the native town on early 1980.
