The reports says that the famous director Maniratnam is planning to launch Pranav Mohanlal in the leading role in his upcoming film, . but this news is yet to be confirmed and there is no official information from the makers. Pranav has made his debut in the films as a child artiste long back and has proved his mettle in acting. It is through the film “Onnaman”, he made his debut in the films by acting the childhood of Mohanlal. Later he did ” Punarjani”, directed by Major Ravi and Raksh Amanakara and also had won the 2002 Kerala State Award for the Best Child Artiste. But Later we only got reports about his coming back in the film as hero . Anyways considering the fact the ace director who launched Gautham Karthik (son of the actor Karthik) and Thulasi (daughter of the actress Radha), hope that he also brings this star kid Pranav Mohanlal to Films.
