Recently creative head of UTV Motion pictures have come out with a revealeation to a leading news channel that when they decided to make the film based on the wrestler Mahavir singh Phogat , Actor Amir Khan was the first choice for the role and hence they approached him. She also added that In case Aamir had not agreed to do the film then obiviously the other actor that they had in the Mind are Mohanlal all time favourite actor of Malayalam could have been become Mahavir Singh Phogat.
Actor Aamir had enacted the role so wonderfully that critics and fans had appreciated him.
