The Audio launch of the magnum opus film ‘I’ was held in a grand manner. Audio release function was one of the biggest events of Tamil movie industry in the recent times. But as per the latest reports states that Suresh Gopi was not invited for the audio release function. This incident has created controversy. The function was attended by Hollywood Superstar Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Tamil Superstas Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan , Oscar Award winner A R Rahman. But the actor who played the villain in the film was not presented in this gala event. And this has paved the way for controversy.
Reports from Kollywood indicates that the makers of the film did not sent the invitation of the audio launching programme to the actor. It is reported that it is because of the difference of opinion occurred between the makers and the actor.
The problem started when the shoot schedule of the film went on for more than expected days. And the allotted dates to the film by the actor got over, but the makers could not complete Suresh Gopi’s scenes for the film. Because of this delay in the shoot, his other projects got affected. So the actor told the makers to finish off his scenes quickly as he has other commitments and this dragging of the schedule is affecting the other projects in Malayalam. Following this the makers were forced to complete his portions as soon as possible. There are other rumors that the actor had thrown some tantrums on the set and the makers of the film is dissatisfied with him and they did not invite him for the events.
Neither Suresh Gopi nor the makers has commented on this reports.
