Hrithik-Roshan- Indiamovies.net Veteran Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has signed up a contract with Dream Theatre through Carving Dreams for marketing his science fiction movie ‘Krrish 3’. Carving Dreams CEO Afsar Zaidi said ‘Krrish 3’ is expected to fetch a whopping US$: 3 million from world - wide sales. This is going to be sold through digital activation. ‘Krrish’ is going to have two animated versions also. These will be released in kids’ television channel ‘Cartoon Network’ before the release of the normal cinematic version. Moreover, ‘Krrish’ is going to have a 3D version also for release in ordinary theatres. ‘Krrish’ in animated format is slated for release in Cartoon Network in early July. According to Dream Theatre founder Jiggy George the animated version along with the normal one will boost the sales fetching enormous return to the Producer. This is the first time ever that such an experiment is being conducted in India. Dream Theatre possesses the licensing rights for Angry Birds, Power Rangers, Noddy and Discovery Kids in India. Jiggy George’s previous work experience in Cartoon Network will play a significant role in running Dream Theatre efficiently. He is already planning to make four sequels to this movie in collaboration with Toonz Animation. ‘Krrish 3’ is the third sequel to the old ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ and ‘Krrish’. Any way ‘Krrish 2’ is expected to make a history in box-office collections. The only other person who experimented with branding was Sha Rukh Khan. In 2011 he tried it with his ‘Ra’. But it didn’t give him the expected return. The overseas distribution rights of ‘Krrish’ have been secured by Eros International for a sum of Rs: 20 crores. Music rights have gone to T- Serirs for Rs: 6 crores. Brand licensing in India is not very popular at the moment and its business volume stands at a meager US$ 300.
