Fast & Furious Actor Paul Walker Dies In California Car Crash

California: Bollywood actor Paul Walker, who starred in the Fast & Furious series of action films, has been killed in a car crash in California. Walker, 40, was a passenger in a Porsche sports car driven by a friend – who also died – when it crashed north of Los Angeles. Walker was said to be attending a charity event at the time.

Walker began his career at the age of two by acting as a model. He acted in a film at the age of 13. He starred in all but one of the films in the Fast & Furious franchise, the sixth of which opened in May. Walker also starred in the suspense drama Hours, a movie that is set for release this month.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department said that the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 28300 block of Rye Canyon Loop. “When they arrived, deputies found the vehicle engulfed in flames,” a statement read. “The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded, extinguished the fire and subsequently located two victims inside the vehicle. One of Walker’s friends Antonio Holmes told the local newspaper they “went through fire extinguishers” in a futile bid to fight the blaze. “We tried, we tried”.

The victims were pronounced dead at the scene.”As of 8 p.m., the road was still closed, and two Los Angeles local TV stations had sent news vans to the scene.
