Dulqur Salman has done only one film in Tamil. It is a bilingual film titled Vaai Moodi Pesavum directed by Balaji Mohan. The film received only average response in Tamil Nadu. Even though the film did not become hit, Dulqur received Vimathan award for the best new comer in Tamil film through his performance for the film. This is the proof to show that Tamil film industry has accepted him . now the actor is gearing up for his second tamil film that too with the famous director Mani Ratnam. He would be playing the lead role in the film. The fdilm is titled as Okay Kanmani and Nitya Menon will be playing the female protagonist in the film. Kaniha and Prakash Raj will play the other two central characters in the film. The release of the film is eagerly awaited by tamil audience as well as Malayalam audience. The latest report says that Dulqur is competing with the megastars in the industry.
