The film is is based on the detective character Byomkesh Bakshi created by writer Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Anand Tiwari and Swastika Mukherjee in principal roles. The film is scheduled for release on February 13, 2015.
