Mavelikkara: Son who is staying in Malappuram ,Daughter and Husband In Changanacherry and the neighbors, came to know about the death of a woman who was staying alone in their house at Chettikulangara,after one and a half months.
The news about the death of Sumathi Nair ,71 year old who was alone after her husbands death ,of Alakapuri,Kaithavana South,came on Monday night. Doctors said the corpse is 45 days old.Flesh was decayed and dried. Ornaments were found on the body.It is to be assumed that including relatives no one visited her in the last one and a half months.That is the reason for not knowing about her death until Monday.Neighbors did not inquire about her because she used to visit her children and stay with them.She had sold a part of her property in June.It was at that time that the natives saw her son. Last day he called home but on having no response he came along with relatives.Police Broke open the doors and found the corpse in bedroom. After autopsy the body got cremated.
