Can Have Discussion with LDF on Siege:Oommen Chandy
Thiruvananthapuram: In relation to the proposed siege if the LDF is willing the government is ready to call them for a discussion says Oommen Chandy. If the agitation is peaceful ,army will not be called for help.The central forces were called ,not for handling the people but for the people. The statement by Kodiyeri and Pinarayi that the strike will be peaceful can be welcomed.At the same time Vaikom Viswan says they will not allow any one to enter into the Secretariat.This will stagnate the administration said the Chief Minister in press meet.
From the government side there will not be any step to initiate any provocation said Chief Minister.It is for the people that steps were initiated to handle the strike.In Solar transactions the government has not lost a single penny.The LDF is making fresh allegations in each day said Oommen Chandy.
It is the prime responsibility of the government to prevent stagnation in administration.The decision to call the military is taken after discussing with Police.The protestors should co operate with the government and allow the cantonment gate to open requested Oommen Chandy. They too wish to have the issues on solar scam to be fixed and for that if LDF is ready there can be discussions said Oommen Chandy
