Avanthika is an Indian model-turned-film actress, who mainly works in the Malayalam and Tamil film industries, She pursued a career in modelling before becoming an actress. During her modelling career, she appeared in a number of commercials.
Avanthika hails from Calicut Kerala, She won Miss Malabar 2011 Title. After she signed her first film in title role Yakshi Faithfully yours, She has then later appeared in her second movie 8:20 Directed by Shyam and produced by Leading producer Sabu Cheriyan, She signed her first Tamil project Sukradasai shooting started and will release in April 2013, Avanthika is all set to play leading lady in a hilarious comedy movie opposite Divya Darshan in her forthcoming film Mr BEAN directed by Reji Paul a Former assistant to Director Sharvi.
