Mammootty is back in Police Dress
The makers of the upcoming film titled Street Lights starring Mammootty in the lead had released its initial teaser. The film would be bilingual film which will be released in Tamil and Malayalam at a time and according to the sources this would be an action thriller. The film is directed by famous cinematographer Shamdatt. Mammootty would be playing the character of James the police officer. The screenplay of the film would be Fawaz. Malayalam and Tamil Versions will have entirely different star cast. In Malayalam version, Actors like Shaheer, Harish Kanaran, Dharmajan Bolgatti will be playing the important characters in the film. the film is produced under the banner of Play House and will be produced by Mammooty himself. The film would hit theaters on January 26th.

The iconic film titled No 20 Madras Mail will be remembered all time by the film lovers. The film had two superstars of Malayalam film industry Mammootty and Mohanlal sharing the screen space and both had given an excellent performance. Now it has been reported that the upcoming new film titled Vaarikkuzhiyile Kolapathakam directed by Rajesh Mithila has been adapted from this Mammootty Mohanlal starrer film No 20 Madras Mail.
In the film Hitchcok Kanjikuzhi the character played by Maniyanpilla Raju is a novelist and dreams to make one of his novels titled Varrikkuzhiyile Kolapathakam into a film.
Rajesh Mithila is directing the film. Vaarikuzhiyile Kolapathakam is the name of a novel written by Hichcock Kanjikuzhy. It is also reported that Mohanlal would reprise the role of Toby Kurishingal but no official confirmation has been made about this.
But there is no clarity about Mammootty’s presence in the new movie. The film will Have Dileesh Pothen and Amith Chakkalakkal playing the lead roles. The script of the film is written by director himself. The cinematography of the film is by Eldho Issac. Jagadish and Maniyan Pillai Raju will also be seen in the movie. The heroine of the film is Ammera. Actors like Nedumudi Venu and Shammi Thilakan would play important characters in the film.

Respect Mammooty : Actor Parvathy sticks to her statement
Actress Parvathy is facing severe cyber attacks for criticizing the film Kasaba. Recently actress Parvathy had criticized the character of cop played by actor Mammootty in his film Kasaba. She had recently clarified that he has only criticized Kasaba for glorifying Misogyny for treating a women poorly not the actor Mammooty who is an actor of par excellence. She stressed that she had criticized only Mammootty film and she had great respect for the actor and she had never intended to attack him as a person.
AS the controversy gained momentum, Actor Mamootty himself came out with a statement to make his stance clear on the issue.
At an open forum she had criticized that certain dialogues from the Mammootty starrer Kasaba as Misogynistic. She said that she stand by what she said at the open forum and will always voice towards such concerns and will keep speaking out until the public understands her.

The first video song of Pranav Mohanal’s debut film titled Aadhi is out. The song has a glimpse of Pranav playing the Guitar and the song takes the audience along with the sadness of Aadhi. The lyrics of the song is written by Santhosh Varma and the music is by Anil Johnson. The song is sung by Singer Najim Arshad and given the perfection to it by singing beautifully.
In the film Pranav Mohanlal plays Aadhitya Mohan alias Aadhi an aspiring musician directed by Jithu jpseph. The song has some touching moments indicating broken family ties and the pain of loss. Pranav steals the show with his melancholic looks and effortless rendering of grief.
