Indian Naval Academy Officer Cadets called on Governor The Indian Naval Academy Officer Cadets from Ezhimala, Kannur District, Kerala who are pursuing their B.Tech. Degree in the Academy are on a visit to OTA, Chennai as part of their Mid-Term Training. The Officer Cadets  called on Dr. K. Rosaiah, His Excellency the Governor of Tamil Nadu at Raj Bhavan, Chennai today( 19.9.2013). During the interaction, the Governor appreciated the young Cadets for joining Navy at this young age to serve for the nation. He said,  “It is a great sacrifice to opt for this.  Their temperament itself is different from others.  Their family deserves appreciation for admitting them in the Navy instead of urging them to seek green pastures elsewhere.”   For a question from one of the cadet, the Governor replied that Mahatma Gandhiji is more than a Role Model for him who won freedom for our nation from the clutches of the British Rule and he never held any post and was not even a member of Congress Party. Lt. Cdr. Bala Senthil, Lt. Cdr. Ashwin Maratt, Officers from the Indian Naval Academy thanked Governor for the opportunity given to them.
