AR Rahman To Act in Highway
India’s Music Emperor Composer –singer and music producer A R Rahman is all set to act. He will be shot for a video of a song Patakha Guddi in the upcoming film ‘Highway’ directed by Imtiaz Ali. Rahman himself has posted this information on his face book page. He had posted the photograph on his social networking page saying that Imtiaz is directing a music video with him for High way for the male version of Patakha Guddi, He asked the fans to wait for few more days for the video. The photograph features him together the films leading lady Alia Bhat, and they are seen sitting in a truck.
For the same film Rahman will sing a Punjabi song starting Maahi Ve . Earlier has sung for several Tamil and Hindi songs but this will be the first time the music director sings the Punjabi song.
Highway’ is a 2014 Bollywood romance-drama film, directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It stars Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Director Imtiaz Ali and A.R. Rahman come together for this film Highway after the 2011 released musical hit film Rockstar.The film will be released worldwide on Feb 21.
