The upcoming new film in which Mohanalal and M Padmakumar is teaming up has been titled as Kanal. Like the earlier film Sikar this new film will also be an action thriller. The story and the screen play of the film would be written by Suresh Babu who has written script for Sikar.
The film tells the story of two people who lost the job because of recession and reaches the home land with revenge filled mind. But both who was not related to each other only recognizes their similar goals only after returning to the home land. They both had different experiences and had different life style when they were in Dubai. Mohanlal will play the central character in the film. along with him a popular young actor will also do an important role in the film.
